Let's check out how to Block Contacts or spam calls in VoiceStack.
Block a Number
1. Click on the Menu on the top right.
2. Select Settings.
3. Under General Settings, select Blocked Contacts.
4. Click Block Contact.
5. Enter the required details:
- Phone Number – The number to be blocked.
- Reason – Select a reason from the available options (Spam, Marketing, Job Seeker, Others).
- Notes – Provide additional details about why the number is being blocked.
6. Click Block to add the number to the blocked list:
7. In the confirmation pop-up, click Block to block the contact permanently, or Cancel to abort the action.
Unblocking a Blocked Number
1. Locate the number to be unblocked.
2. Click on Unblock to remove the number from the blocked list.
3. In the confirmation pop-up, click Unblock to unblock the contact, or Cancel to abort the action.
| Note: Unblocking is limited to contacts you have blocked. Contacts blocked by other agents cannot be unblocked. |

Block a Number
1. Navigate to Configuration > General Settings > Blocked Number.
2. Click Block Contact.
3. Enter the required details:
- Phone Number – The number to be blocked.
- Reason – Select a reason from the available options (Spam, Marketing, Job Seeker, Others).
- Notes – Provide additional details about why the number is being blocked.
4. Click Block to add the number to the blocked list.
5. In the confirmation pop-up, click Confirm to block the contact or Cancel to abort the action.
Unblocking a Blocked Number
1. Locate the number to be removed.
| Tip: Utilise the Search Bar if needed. |
2. Click on Unblock to remove the number from the blocked list.
3. In the confirmation pop-up, click Unblock to unblock the contact, or Cancel to abort the action.
| Note: Admins have permission to unblock any contact. |
